ABOUT SHANE

Shane DePascali started his accounting career at Niagara College in 2009 with a business administration – accounting diploma. On graduation in 2011, Shane knew this wasn’t his end and took the next step to register for both the Certified General Accountants (CGA) program, and an Honors Bachelor of Commerce (H.B. Com.) degree at Laurentian University. Over the years the provincial accounting designations eventually merged into one organization, the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA). Shane graduated his CGA and H.B. Com. programs in 2016, which resulted in earning his CPA and legacy CGA designations. The last step in his education was to write the Post Designation Public Accounting exam for his Public Accounting License (LPA), which he obtained on the first ever post-merger exam in 2018.

At the same time in 2011 Shane began his career at a local Niagara public accounting firm. Over the years his professional career had progressed to manager, and eventually in 2019 became a partner at the firm. His focus as partner was with small business, non-profit & charities, and audits.
